William Butler
President, National Veterans Memorial and Museum 
William J. Butler is a seasoned non-profit leader with a proven record of strategic planning, operational leadership, and organizational growth. Prior to returning to Ohio in 2019, he was a senior Department of the Army civilian with U.S. Army Africa in Vicenza, Italy. A career Infantry officer, he retired from the U.S. Army in 2017 after 27 years of active duty service in leadership roles across the United States, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.
